Ford Focus - Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2006 EGR + MANIFOLD removal. HiI've got a problem, (well obviously) I have a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2006 (Lynx Engine), the "Engine Systems Fault" message has come up, frankly I'm too cheap to go to the Ford garage for them to tell me the code. I am in "limp home mode" so driving is a no go.
Big ole' pliers or equivalent to get the EGR off. EGR delete plate. EGR gasket. A cap or bolt for the EGR bung on the header or a M22x1.5mm threaded plug for the exhaust EGR outlet (NAPA Part # 704-1048 works OK) And a tune to turn the EGR off. Remove the intake tube and such so you will have plenty of room.
